- Carizo had another SCARAB runaway that hung the system for a time. Bob
is still working on finding a fix for this.
- We got the DR11-W board back from Logical and put it back in Tejon. We
are still getting errors. After replacing some boards in the digitizer,
Chuck traced the problem to the digitizer power supply and fixed it.
- Continued setting up Terra10. One of the disks in the expansion unit
appears to have hardware problems.
- Spent 30 out of 40 hours this week out sick.
- Formatted the problem disk on Terra10 and it still has errors.
- Tejon had SQUIRREL problems over the weekend when one of the tape drives
went bad. We put two of the new high-density drives on Tejon.
- Reinstalled Solaris on Terra10 in order to redo the disk space
allocations.
- Got the new LRS remote access server from Lantronix. Started configuring
it.
- Continued configuring Doug's new UltraSparc.
- Tejon experienced disk errors caused by the SCSI bus resetting over the
weekend. Squirrel also had problems due to the bus errors.
- Continued with experimenting with configurations on the remote access
server. Got a ppp connection to work with Steve's laptop.
- Called Digitape to clear up a misunderstanding between them and our
purchasing people in order for them to be paid for the four new tape drives
we bought.
- Removed the problem disk from Terra10 and moved the remaining disk from
the expansion box into the main chassis. Reinstalled Solaris again.
