queues for the new printer.
- Moved the RAID on Spring in preparation for the new Jukebox installation.
After moving, one of the RAID controllers failed self-test. Called

which didn't help. Finally, they agreed to send out a field service person,
who replaced the controller. After all of this, all the data on the RAID
was lost.

- Contacted Sun to resend quotes for a new disk for Iron and a replacement
power supply fan for Spring. The original quotes had been lost somewhere
in the Seismo Lab.
- The office experienced a power failure on October 17th. Spent some time
investigating this to determine how and why things failed the way they did.
- Since the UPS systems on the ITS equipment in the yellow house seems to
have not worked in the power failure, wrote to Larry Watanabe about this
and requested that they test this equipment.
