- Set up a new Sun Ultra-10 workstation as node Water in the Trinet
development area. This system will be used by the Timers to test Jiggle.
After about one hour of use, the system locked up and would not reboot.
Called Sun warranty service about this.
- Borrowed node Rust for the Timers to use in next week's Trinet system
test.
- The replacement monitor for Wwolf arrived. After the swap, the bad
monitor was sent back to Compaq warranty service.
- Investigated some memory errors that appeared on the Spring system
console.

properly. Had to manually reset the interface, after which it operated
normally.
- Rebooted Bigone to clear some NFS problems with the Jukebox.
- A service guy from Sun came out to fix Water. He replaced the power
supply and main system board, but this did not fix the problem. He came
back the next day and replaced the main board, power supply, and memory.
Then the system worked.

hold the new GigaRAID HA that Andataco is sending for Jet.
- Arranged with Phil to do a new Solaris install on the SX RAID that is
already attached to Jet. This will be the first step in making Jet and
Spring equivalent systems.
- Set up Big Brother, which is a system and network security monitoring
tool. This will monitor availability of system resources on the Trinet
systems.
- Installed Solaris 2.6 on Jet on the SX RAID. After the upgrade
configuration is ready, this will become the new system disk.
